I had worked a deal on some expensive and discontinued sticks. Should have been a little wiser in the beginning… deals too good to be true usually are.

Davidoff is my go to, especially rare and hard to find. If you search some of my Humidor threads you’ll see my obsession .

Yeah, this can happen to the best of us. Especially when trying to find a rarer or discontinued cigar that's been on our mind. Sorry to hear about this.
 
Still fighting this…not much of an update. Though USAA did tactically lock my bank account on pay day last week, so that was cool.

However, my attitude had turned around, I have been enjoying some great cigars, and my wife and I have made some financial decisions for the better to protect us in the future.
 
Well, USAA apparently reopened the case and did a deep dive again with all the data and refused to decide in my favor.

Still working some angles, but might be a lost cause.

Good news is I am no longer affiliated with USAA, my account manager at Chase is a stud who loves talking about F1 and MotoGP.
We have money to pay bills and sneak a cigar order in once in a while, though bot as often as it used to be.
I am getting my mojo back as well, especially concerning the cigar hobby and collection. As some may have noticed I was MIA for a couple months.
Falling back in love with the leaf, which you can tell by my recent posts.
I was on the verge of quitting it all and selling everything TBH.

Thanks for the love, thoughts, and prayers. I have been humbled big time and learned a valuable lesson. I also know even more now what it means to have a supportive partner who is here with me through thick and thin!

Fight the good fight and never give up.
