This is toro, though it seems more like a corona extra- which is probably my favorite size but with all this talk of the Petit Corona version of the Black Label, I am going to have to try some of those. As the story goes, Pete released these back in 2007 or 2008 following a trip to Cuba where he was given a farm rolled cigar from a guy which turned out to be the best cigar he smoked while there.
1/3: Graham cracker and cinnamon. Simple but very nice.
2/3: More of the same. Sometimes this turns me off since I'm used to changes in flavors between the first and middle thirds. Those two segments typically are where you get all the different flavors in a cigar and then the final third kinda picks a flavor and that's how you end. I'm not disappointed with the flavor. It helps that I'm kind of "sipping" it, which I think this cigar benefits from immensely.
3/3: Some spiced cherry's join in. Again, the simplisticy of this cigar is surprising. You would expect something with more flavor notes, or changes or...something, but this is just as great as any cigar that is a kaleidoscope of flavors and its just... simple. I nubbed the shit out of it.

Final Thoughts: In a world of what's new, what's flashy, what's bold, this cigar isn't any of those. Its not even pretty. Yet, this cigar was amazing. I need to try some of those smaller ones. Sip this one though. You do that, and the cigar will pay you back.

Great review, and I completely agree 👍 These are often overlooked, but they are great cigars. Smoked around here frequently. The Petite Robusto and Petite Lancero are faves...as well as the little PC.
