Warren Zevon - Stand In The Fire (1980)
Recorded over 5 shows at the Roxy in LA in August 1980 it was ready for sale before Christmas. Originally a 10 song single LP it was remastered and had 4 bonus songs added to the 2007 CD. In 2021 a double record set was released with 20 songs. No CD release of that yet,
This was Warren's first test of sobriety having only been clean for about a month. The album was dedicated to Martin Scorsese because Warren thought his performance was raw like a Scorsesie film.

For the longest time I remember when I was in high school I used to think that was Judas Priest on the vocals. I remember my high school girlfriend telling me what kind of rocker are you that's not him. Every time I hear that song it brings me back to 1990 being a rocker in high school smoking Marlboro Reds.
