Today's Smoke 2026

Does it differ from the Legacy that was released last year?
YES!!! It was actually very good! That is how different of a cigar it is to me!!!!

I do not like the normal Legacy; too mild and not enough flavor for me. It's like smoking a big fat nothing burger. The 10th & 30th are miles a head of the Legacy. While I've tried all 3 Legacy wrappers at release, then again with a month and then about a year of rest. Nothing made it worth while to me. I will likely forget the Legacy and never look back; its just not to my flavor profile.

I believe the Legacy Father & Son is supposed to have a differing blend and is of course a shaped cigar. How much is the blend different? Well it was at least enough for me to really enjoy the first one I had and to be looking forward to the Maduro wrapper! I actually got flavor out the Shade Grown and felt it could compete with the 30th.

Will it be up there with the 10th, which I think is one of the best cigars for the money that you can buy, well we'll see.

Legacy was too mild for me. I’ll have to try the Father and Son when I can find some.

Padron 3000 natural. I have it on good experience I need to try the Maduro.

P.S. Hat tip to @PuffTheMagicDragon for getting me to try these. Never had a Padron before joining here, he suggested I might not be a worthy member based on that fact alone but he was patient enough to wait until I had one. Many thanks, sir!!

Interesting question…the Claude’s are the only GOFs I’ve had!😁

I will say though, these are some of my favorite short smokes. I hope when I run out I can find some more!

That sounds better than the original which I labeled “good.” I have a very complex and rationalized rating system of Bad, Meh, Okay, Decent, Good, Very Good, Great and Fantastic. 😂

En Fuego (local cigar shop/lounge) House Maduro by Noel Rojas
Box pressed naked Toro with partial closed foot. Mexican San Andres wrapper and assumably Nicaraguan binder and filler. Pre-light aroma and draw were barnyard and mint. Rich dark earth and charred oak start mellowing to floral notes, mint and faint baking spices. Finished with medium spice. Mild to medium bodied, well-constructed stick. Very pleasant, well-behaved smoke.
