My Quest for my "Perfect Morning Coffee Cigar"

Coffee w/cream....Romeo y Julieta Belicosos (Cuban)

Coffee black....Tatuaje Black Petite Corona (Nicaragua)

Coffee iced (double espresso w/cold froth).... Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story (Dominican Republic)

Espresso....Partagas Short (Cuban)
Very comprehensive! Thank you!

For me, I like to be able to taste both the cigar and the coffee.... I'm not worried about my coffee being overpowering since I brew lighter roasted single origins that are typically pretty bright a fruit forward.

If I smoke a cigar that is too stout, I'll lose the coffee nuances. Without coffee all best are off, but with coffee I'll typically go with a milder/creamier profile to be complimentary.

PLPC back in the day were it until prices went nuts.

Davidoff Aniversario - spendy but great
Zino Platinum Scepter

More realistically:
Rojas Street Tacos Carnitas
Rojas Quiet Morning - just had a couple, mild but with a little backbone
Roma Intemperance EC
Charter Oak
Warped - I think a lot of them would do the trick
EPC New Wave Conn

I'm sure I'll think of more, but this is a start...

A forgotten gem to add to your list both in this size, and the Nesticos. The larger vitolas are exceptional as well.

Fantastic with coffee in the am!

I love this cigar and have it in 3 sizes, including the Nesticos. I have never seen that size though, and it does look like it would be the perfect size for a morning coffee! Thanks for the tip!

I would love to explore the Davidoff line more in depth, as the smaller Cigars I have tried of theirs are fantastic.

This morning, I gave the Montecristo White Series Robusto another chance. It is just too mild to hold up to bourbon, which was the first pairing with this cigar a couple weeks back. I really enjoyed it with my morning coffee, though.

I got this at a golf event last month... Very enjoyable during myoring round this week.
I'd dare say, I'd try it again to be sure it wasn't just the day.

Rojas "Quite Morning"

81 with 2 doubles :( )
