That is sad. We had an officer ambushed here a few weeks back. They caught the guy, but I do not know if they ever found out why.

He was engaged in a foot chase when then subject started beating him and he fell to the ground. The suspect then grabbed his duty weapon and the officer plead with the suspect not to shoot him, but he executed him right there. It's royally fucked.
