Do you honestly think you're in a position to hand out advice? Grow up and grow some thick skin.

I was being sarcastic as was the poster who recommended Thompson cigars. I've read a lot of posts about people saying Thompson Cigars are HORRIBLE. I thought he was joking and just giving the "troll" the opposite of good advice. I'm apologize if I misunderstood what was going on. I made an interpretation mistake.

No, you got it right. The mistake you made was getting involved.

I apologize. I have been reading these forums almost 2 hours a day since I've joined. I've grown fascinated with cigars and the wealth of information. Not many new threads are made and sometimes I just want to say something so as not to feel alienated. However, out of respect, I will refrain from doing so anymore. I wasn't expecting such a harsh backlash for what I considered a response of equal caliber to what was said to me. I even had a "with all due respect" disclaimer.

Watch "Talladega Nights" for an explanation on the "with all due respect" thing. This is a marathon, not a sprint, people have years and years invested in this place so give it time.

It's not a personal attack, just someone telling you to pull your head in and dont get involved in disputes yet.

I'd just suggest you grow a bit thicker skin. This is for the most part a men's club, And you will be treated as such.

But, I can't treat other people like "men" without having negative consequences. So, suggesting I'm not being a "man" about this really isn't helping. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if someone calls me out for saying this to you.
