Stay away from Bose. Quality highs and a solid midrange are way more important than thumping bass power. Use Dynamat or something similar unless you like the sound of body panels vibrating.

If its built into the dash, you have problems,. but there should be several shops in the Denver area.

I have an Eclipse head unit that has never given me any problems. Make sure it has some sort of aux input for an mp3 player.

Crutchfield.com usually has on point prices and as big of a walkthrough that an internet resource could offer.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Yes I have experience as do many others, but apparantly you do as well because you have 75% of it picked out already lol. How hard can rear speakers be? Buy good quality ones, that fit your car, and that are within the power range of your amp so you don't blow them up. Easy peezy.

Generally speaking I usually run components up front and then a good 3-way out back. Infinity is my go-to brand, but what exactly is your question? Feel free to PM me, I love car talk.
