    Yes! All tube for my he-man rig. Cary Pre and Primaluna Amp. Pushing Thiels, which imo, need tubes.

    Very nice! I am familiar with Cary, Primaluna and Theils but have never had the pleasure of listening to any of them. But I bet it sounds awesome. Does it take much power on those Theils? I only dream about Cary stuff.

    The Thiels like power, but a 40 or 50 watt tube amp is fine. 4 Ohm resistive load so, the amp does well. Prima Luna has tight bass which matches well. The Cary is the AES line which I got 50% or so off. I had a Counterpoint but it was a pain to get at a volume I like with a stepped volume. I miss it anyway. hahaha! I had a Cary SLA-70B I kick myself for selling (ex-wife). Magic Midrange.
