    Today's Smoke 2026

Last night’s smoke Rojas Unfinished Business Toro Big pop of citrus to start. Cedar, mild retro. Very light cigar with open draw (v cut). 2nd leather, cedar, milder citrus, white pepper retro, cool smoke. Linear after that. Mild but interesting, enjoyable smoke.

FRONT PORCH BOMBING JUST REPORTED IN WEST ALLEN, TX (NORTH DALLAS METROPLEX) Nick Burner reporting some Nick on Nick crime today at my home. Holy shit I have died and gone to heaven. My timing caught Nick @theorangeman out of town at his OTHER humidor which worked out exceptionally well for...

    Today's Smoke 2026

EP Carillo La Historia (Elenador-5.3x52) Been pleased with both EP’s I’ve had so far. Extreme box press and only one week of rest. Good construction/no issues. Brief initial bitterness quickly replaced by leather, earth, peppery RH and cocoa. 2nd - cedar, vanilla, hot chocolate, espresso...

    Today's Smoke 2026

La Palina 1896 I don’t normally go for connecticuts but this was part of a 5 stick sampler. Wide open draw (v-cut) - first cigar I’ve had go out on me except while golfing. Super-mild with notes of bread, tea, and wood with a sweet finish. Very slight developing spice. Mild pepper retro...

Good smoke but damn the draw is tight - double v cut and draw tooled twice. Good construction though-one ash cigar 😅

    Today's Smoke 2026

Rojas Al Pastor Leather, earth and white pepper with a coating of orange zest on the lips. Sinus-clearing white pepper retrohale. Very nice bedtime smoke. I’ve enjoyed the few Rojas I’ve tried thus far. Being in Dallas, I believe I need to pay Noel a visit.

    Every week, it's SOMETHING.

We had a similar one - one guy went down, then his partner. Wife tracked him on life 360, walked to him and she died too. Grandparents knew she was going out there - when she didn’t answer, they went out there with the kids. Saw 3 bodies and thankfully didn’t get out of the car. Awful.

    Reclaimed....kinda humidor

I like seeing anything built out of anything but a humidor? Damn right we want to see it.

Newbie Sampler Trade - Part III

Got a bit of a sneak preview and to say I’m excited would be a massive understatement. Not sure if I’m going to take a week off and smoke them all or create a mini-Smithsonian of cigars in my humidor and not touch them until my boys get married, have kids, close a big business deal, etc...

    What’s on the grill/smoker today? 2021

I’m a lifelong stick burner but finally got tired of getting up at 3am to feed the firebox. I didn’t really have porch space at the house for a grill and a smoker and went with the Weber Searwood 600. You can smoke or grill on it and can crank it up as high as 600 for searing. All with...

AVO Syncro Caribe Mild/medium with cedar, mild spice, leather, cream and caramel notes. Nice partner for a late afternoon coffee and some march madness.

I take it these are pool trucks and you’re not regularly swapping with the same guy who just doesn’t give a shit or you could “have a conversation” with him right?
