Started this evening off with an Oliva Serie V lancero, finished up with a glass of Costa Rican Anejo rum and an Anejo #46.

Honestly, in my opinion only less peaty Scotches pair that well with cigars.  I may be alone in this opinion but if I'm going to drink hard liquor with a cigar, its going to be a fine bourbon, or a Speyside or blended scotch whisky.  Certainly not an Islay scotch.

Those are excellent.  I smoked one and immediately bought a box I was so impressed.  Tonight its a Tatuaje La Verite Vintage 2009 robusto, however.  Enjoying a warm humid evening with a little drizzle of rain after a beautiful weekend.
