    New Year's Eve Smoke...

I remember all the fireworks on new years eve when I lived in Germany. Set the bank of the rhein river on fire once, not watching what I was doing. damn, I had fun over there. but, for the smoke I think I'll have a casa fuente I been setting on. got a DC Maximus that might sneak in there too.

    Cigar Pairing Reviews

I had a LFD Serie 2000 Toro along with a glass of The Glennlivet 18 y/o about a week ago. The LFD is my favorite smoke, but the first draw after a taste of the scotch left me with "damn, I can't taste the cigar at all now." I was at first disappointed. BUT, after finish of the scotch...

    Fuente Fuente Opus X

Drive on down to Stags in Colorado Springs sometime. I've never seen them without several sizes of Opus X. I was in this afternoon and they had several sizes in stock, $12.50 to $20 or so.

    The Glenlivet 18 y/o

I see mention quite a bit of cigars and single malt scotch being a welcome combination by many. I don't ever drink much more than beer and had never tried Scotch so I start asking my friends if they like Scotch and I only find one guy who likes it. I pose this question to my brother-in-law last...

What's your technique for keeping humidity up in the winter?

Here in dry-assed colorado a humidifier is almost a necessity in the winter. I think ambiant humidity inside without it would be 15-20%. Our himidifier runs almost constantly and makes a big difference in comfort levels.

    What's everyone's favorite Cameroon?

La Flor Dominicana Serie 2000 el toro is my all time favorite (that I can afford regularly anyway). The Carlos Torano 1916 robusto is up there on my list as well. I like the CAO CX2 more than the Torano, but its about twice as expensive at the local B&M.

    What did you smoke today

Last night I had a CAO CX2 Robusto at a CAO event hosted at the B&M. Nice pepper flavor to it. Even won a CAO hat in the drawing. This evening I smoked an Oliva O Classic Ole...one of my favorite go to's. Turning out to be a good weekend.

    Casa Fuente

Those never go anywhere near MSRP on C-Bid. Their limited availability is going to demand a premium. Not many of us can just go to casa fuente on a whim and pick up that stick. Enjoy it!!
