I had one last night and I'd just say they're different than the regular line. I'd describe the maduros as sweeter (which you'd expect) but also a little more subdued or refined than the regular Vs. I like them both.

Eric, I'm trying to resist those lanceros. Just bought some La Aroma EEs and the new LFD Double Press at my local B&M, so want to do the responsible thing. But it's unbelievably tempting - especially since I've become a huge lancero and LFD fan.

Nice review man. I actually prefer the JJ naturals. I've gone through about 20-25 of them and just find the combination of spice and cream very satisfying. I've only had the maduros in the Sublime, however, so might enjoy the belicoso more.

I really like these. Straight tobacco taste but very rich, nice aroma and a reasonably quick smoke due to the slender RG. I got, I think, 15 of them for $90 or something like that from the clearance bin at Famous Smoke. Supply is dwindling, alas.

I've had a few from 05-06 that are almost that dark. Not sure why anyone would counterfeit a Padron 1000 series, if that's the concern.

I have half a dozen tomato plants (just nothing like a fresh slice in the first BLT of the season), couple peppers and a volunteer squash plant. Just planted a couple short rows of lettuce, cabbage, broccoli and brussels sprouts for fall harvest. That reminds me, it's time to thin those buggers...
