    CAO Visions

I 'lost sight' of the Visions shortly after they were launched last year. Probably the most disappointing cigar they have introduced, IMHO.

The Ethical Rebounds of Cigars born of Dubious Origins

Alright... I think I understand but let me break the original post down and answer these questions in the best manner that I can. In my line of work, there is no such thing as a 'best smoke' or a 'worst smoke'. The general philosphy in the cigar business is simply "Smoke what you like. Like...

What is a good cigar to introduce to non-smokers?

What is a good cigar to introduce to non-smokers?

It's not necessarily true that new smokers would prefer a mild cigar. Get a feel for what they like to eat first. You just never know

In all fairness, though... It was a broad Camacho guess based on the cigar's texture. I would not have pinned it down to a Liberty.

    So what was it?

    You just never know

I'm guessing that's a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, which would point me in the Oliva direction. But it's more likely to be an Honduran Sun Grown Corojo seed, in which case I'd put money on Rocky or Camacho. Am I close or way off base?

Funny thing happened to me the other day. I was cutting a length of twine and found tobacco in the strands. :p

    Retailers Margins

That is a good point, Jim. I hadn't thoiught of it that way. Nonetheless, your second point about dealing competetively with catalogs and the internet is also a strong argument to shave down the cost to the consumer as much as possible so the door stays open. I work with a handful of retailers...
