    Digital Hygro Deals

There were two HygroSets on the Monster site 'Mash-Up' just last evening. Both round and rectangular versions were available. $17, shipped, IIRC. Check out the 'Closeout' section at Holts, too. They sometimes have a deal on hygros. Chemyst

    Beads help in humidor

I don't spritz my beads. Rather I put a small capful of water in my humi and let the beads absorb moisture from the 'atmosphere' in the humi. (a 2 liter soda bottle cap about 1/2 full) This way I don't have to use distilled water. Been using this method for several years (~4?), even in my...

    My new Wine-Cooler

I use 1.25 pounds of beads in my 28 bottle Vino. I put 1/2 pound in a shallow tray at the top and another 1/2 pound in a shallowtray on the bottom. The extra 1/4 lb. is in some tubes inside the 2 large drawers I got from ChasDen on CigarAsylum.com .(he probably posts here, too, but I don't know...

The Weekly 12 at Jack Schwartz Importer

Jack Schwartz just doesn't play fair. Another unbelievable deal! Lucky for me I'm tapped out at the moment, or my cigar budget would be busted, again. Chemyst

    Stogie by the campfire

In two weeks my camping trip will be replete with some of my best sticks, accumulated over the past year or two. It doesn't get any better than camping, Phillies' game on the radio, and a great smoke around the campfire. (and I'll be near Cooperstown this year, too!) Chemyst

I went through my humidor & cooler today

I try not to leave my humi/Vino open more than necessary. But I think I can fill my 150 ct. with Fuente products, including Ashton and DCM. The other 300 or so smokes are a mix but mostly DPG, Oliva, and Padron. Torano, CAO, Graycliff, LA Cien Anos, RyJ, RP, Perdomo, Punch and others are all...

What are the most expensive cigars you buy regularly?

I smoke mostly Fuente stuff, considered mid-range in price. Hemi maduros, Ashton(any), and the occasional Opus and Anejo. For me, there is no problem aging smokes, since I only smoke 5-6 boxes each year. Currently aging a box of Hemi Sig maddies, and two boxes of San Cristobals(guajiro and...

    Your favorite non-Opus Fuente

I'm with jnknzz... Which Fuente is not to like? My favs are Hemi maduros, but everything from Cuesta-Rey to Anejo never let me down. Fuente also makes Ashton, and they're all xlnt, too. Ashton San Cristobal is tops. Chemyst

I use 1.25# beads(70%) in my 28 bottle Vino. Currently sits at 69/69. You have more than enough beads for the 18 bottle unit. Never had a condensation problem, so I can't help there. Chemyst
