Hey guys, I got the pass yesterday but my internet was down. It was still down this morning so I just wanted to send this message from my phone to let you know it arrived safely. Hopefully my internet will be back online tonight because typing this much on a phone sucks.

UPS attempted to deliver today but I ended up working late.  I'll get it tomorrow.

The other option is to check on ebay, Greg.  Some of the best razors out there are the old Gillette Super Speeds from the 40's thru 60's.  They're on Ebay and can be picked up for as little as $15.  Just give it a thorough cleaning/sterilization and you're good to go.

  I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the Simpson.  I haven't purchased a Simpson brush since Vulfix purchased the company.  Do you have a pre-Vulfix Simpson for comparison, by chance?

I had a couple tastes of Pappy Van Winkle 23.  Way too much wood.   Then to switch it up I had some Glenmorangie Artein.  That is a very refined dram.

Today is my birthday.  Being 43, I don't really look forward to this day anymore.  This birthday is a little different for me though.    Randy (Sigar_zealot) and I corresponded a lot over the past 4 or so years, mainly about Scotch whisky.  We'd hook each other up with deals when we found them...

Thanks fellers.  The weather was kinda crappy here but so I got to stay home with the little ones.  It made for a pretty good day.
