I believe that MS stated that they were expanding the warranties on their units for instances like these. I haven't personally had the problem, but I know it is out there and went ahead and bought a new unit a few months ago because of this.

Great find....I just DVR the stuff that comes out over BBC. Can't wait to see what they put together for the US version....maybe a little less crapping on americans (most of the cars deserve it).

Dago, it sounds like you've done some looking into this, but be careful...the law is always open to interpretation and, as an attorney, I can tell you that one person's viewpoint about what the law says isn't always the way that the government sees it. Hopefully you wont encounter any issues...

I'm not sure if it is available in your area or not, but you should also look into Verizon FIOS or AT&T U-Verse. I have friends with both of these services and they love them. I just signed up to have U-Verse installed in early January...more channels, better service and cheaper than my cable...

My "other" hobbies: Road Racing motorcycles (knee down-type racing on a F1 style road course) Soccer Video Games Poker I really enjoy road racing motorcycles, but shattered my ankle in a 140mph wreck a short while back and it's slowed down my return.
