He was one of the nicest, kindest, most generous BOTL I have had the pleasure meeting on this forum.  Sure was a sad day 5 years ago.

Yea - It was a big field.   I think we had a total of 90 players involved.   The championship flight had 18, then every other flight had 12.  By the way, I would have won the flight above me as well.   :)

I won my flight championship over the weekend.  I was in the 4th flight - shot 85 - 80 and won the flight by 6 strokes.   Handicaps were between 9 and 11.   Lots of nerves.   Shot one over on the last nine holes - eights pars and one bogey.    Loving the new rocketballz tour irons.  

An update on my purchase of the rocketballz tour irons - I absolutely love the irons.   They are very solid - very forgiving.   They are lofted strong, so you hit a wedge like a normal nine iron.  Now if I could only putt.......................... :(

Well they showed up today.   :D :D They are really a nice looking club.   Hope to play a couple of times over the weekend.   Will report back with results.

These are custom from TM, +1/2   -  2* up.   That is what I was measured for years ago, so hopefully these will be fine.   Price was $ 555 shipped.     Now where the hell is that UPS man.
