My Vinotemp was also reverting to the lowest temperature after a power hit and no longer would go to its highest temp setting. They didn't respond to my e-mails either. I now keep it unplugged in my basement where the temp is a steady 65ish degrees. The seal on the unit is still fine so I'm...

I made one a few years back for outdoor use. I glue-sticked the labels to a piece of plywood and polyurethaned the top and side edges but... it wasn't adequately sealed and moisture crept in and the plys separated. If you go my route, super duper seal it all over (top, bottom, edges)!!!

The "Like" button would work just fine for Doc's last post.

CP should have a "Like" button. It would save sooooo much bandwidth.
