A friend of mine had one of his parents help him out by putting a half smoked cigar back into his humidor.

I was under the impression that the tobacco they used was from the sweet spot of the leaf, so it had the flavor they wanted and burned slow enough to make the cigar last as long as they say it does. As it was explained to me, it was more about the burn than the flavor.

LE10 was good, but it tarred up on me. I picked up a box. I think they'll be good with age on them. I like a smaller ring gauge, so the LE08 is more smokeable than the LE09 or LE10, but I like the flavors of both. Avo's a cool guy, I've met him a few times.

There were 2 shipments but they definitely aren't regular production. They had a limited number of the tubes made. They aren't very scarce because they made a bunch of them (and they weren't a huge hit from what I can tell), but they aren't regular production. I wouldn't worry about stocking...

You're right. There is no difference between brown label and a reserva SW maduro. :thumbs: Ya can't really "discontinue" something that they only plan on rolling once.

They can't really be discontinued... they were both limited runs. They aren't going to be made again, and Tatuaje is never going to release a smoke in a tubo again.

I wonder what happens if you get a cigar laser engraved. Weren't the first Oliva Master Blends done that way? I need to take some sticks over to my friends that do laser engraving. That might be cool.

The black tubo was never a regular production stick... it wasn't going to be made again anyway. Pete did an interview where he said he was never going to do a tubo again, maybe that's what your friend heard.

I don't see any problems at all. Practically everyone had left and they were on home ice... let them do what they want.

I picked up a Camacho Liberty from 2005 and one from 2006, err my roommate did while he was in Baton Rouge.

Most of the Saison's I've had could be considered malty. Hops add the bitterness to the beer. Saison Dupont is a tasty beer and like they said, the junk floating in it is dead yeast. Definitely not dangerous to drink, arguably good for you. If you are very careful when pouring and you leave...

I like it, but I don't smoke avo classics as much as I should. They aren't too expensive for what they are. Avo should be coming out with another line of more affordable smokes in the next year or so.

Yeah, there are always extras made to replace messed up smokes, but it is weird that it they said 300 boxes and made it such a big deal and there were actually 1000...

First off, take the floral foam out... Are you sure you did the salt test correctly? Did you leave it to sit for 12-24 hours? 25 points is alot to be off for any hygrometer. Did you season the humidor before you started all this? Its personal preference.
