How does he know, exactly? If he payed attention to what number boxes he put them in (assuming the boxes were numbered before the tickets were put in) and then packed the boxes going to retailers in a certain order, he would be able to tell, but you make it sound like he purposely sent them to...

You got your Boris from Mark too? Awesome. I would take them out of the box and put them in a tray. My box still needs some time to cure and I wouldn't want it to put any weird flavors into my other cigars.

Yeah, its still a relatively young cigar company... and a very young concept. Third time's the charm, but he's never going to make everyone happy.

He doesn't charge any extra for his limited edition sticks at least. I like that. Its not on him if retailers jack up prices. I'm a sucker for LE stuff, but I'm not going to get pissed off about not getting them. Its all fun to me.

Nah, just not dried to the point that it no longer smells.

If you have a box and the smell won't go away, talk to the retailer where you bought it. They will talk to the reps and figure out some solution. There really isn't much else he can say... what would you have liked him to say?

Meh, get pissed off or realize that this kind of stuff DOES happen all the time. Its only a big deal because you would choose to freak out about it. What is he supposed to do about it? Make more sticks tonight and get them out tomorrow? There's nothing he can do about it, but tell you that...

If they are fine after they air out then I'm not sure what the big deal is. Yes, people's cigars smell a bit *right now* if the smell doesn't go away, we'll see what he does. Yes, it would be nice for them to be perfectly smokeable right out of the box, but its certainly not a big deal...

They probably would've been fine if they hadn't sat in the box with the paper off. I would go so far as to let them sit out in the open for a few hours. Volatile chemicals are causing the problems and airflow will help get rid of them more than a close box.

Its frustrating because a $169+tax expenditure becomes $400 or $500+tax expenditure. Some people can't afford to drop the money for a box or two PLUS the dracs.
