Thank you gentlemen... I've had a very good birthday so far. I even shot my all time best score (on the back nine) - we won't talk about what I shot on the front. :whistling: Now we're off for dinner and when I return, a nice smoke on the deck. :)

There was a day, distant as it seems now, that I liked Sambuca. I would imagine if I had a shot of that stuff now I would probably lose the insides of my stomach as I hurled because the taste would instantly remind of way too many nights that had a bad ending (you know... the college days)...

I'm heading up to Georgia later this week; perhaps a little detour is in store... naaah, unfortunately that would add 3 hours on to my already 7 hour trip. :(

A good ole' fashioned toothbrush followed by Listerine usually works for me.

Sounds logical if he was doing this just once before enjoying the cigar in an effort to cleanse his palate. However, going back and forth with sambuca and licorice and then inhaling his cigar doesn't really seem like cleansing the palate so much as it is having a sweet taste in your mouth for...

I will be attending a conference in Santa Fe, NM in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as far as where to go to enjoy a cigar and some evening cocktails? I was searching a bit this evening online and wasn't able to find much other than a place that may no longer...

Another Camacho Triple Maduro this evening - these are good smokes and will kick you in you ass if you're not careful. The last time I smoked one, I didn't have much in my belly (bad idea). This time I've learned my lesson. :rolleyes:

Just about to enjoy a Gran Cojonu. While I'm a huge fan of tats, I've never had one of the BIG boys. I'm looking forward to the smoke. :thumbs:

I'm not a big fan of the red labels. My favorites (which I keep stocked in my humi) include: Regios Reserva J21 Cojonu 2003 Unicos I also really like the Cabaiguan Guapos. However, as I'm sure you know, not everyone likes the same thing. Perhaps tats aren't for you.

Just about ready to light up a Camacho Triple Maduro this evening as I watch the Nixon-Frost movie. Looking forward to both. :thumbs:

Very nice, although I couldn't afford to buy one of those tonight being that I'm on business in DC for the week. I just got back from Shelly's Backroom where they charged me 10 bucks or so for a Padron 3000. Oh well, at least it was paid for with my per diem cash from my company and it was...

Very interesting and inviting smoke! While I've had more than my share of DPG Blue Labels, I've never had one of those. As for the new labels, I don't have any yet as the boxes I have are from 2-3 years ago. However, while I doubt the label have a bit of difference in the smoke, they do look...

Simple answer... no (it was just a little good humor is all).

I still enjoy the 1932's, although don't find myself reaching for them quite as often as I once did (which I'm not sure if I really attribute that to anything). I prefer the torpedo and toro over the robusto.

My most enjoyable moments are just sitting in my hammock chair in the backyard, often with a little music in the background, while contemplating about something in my life. However, as will be the case tonight, I also like to enjoy a good 'ole cigar with a few brews while watching a movie. :)

DPG Blue Labels are a staple in my humidor (torpedo, robusto and toro). Great smoke for the money! :thumbs:

My last night living as a bachelor before my wife comes back home from visiting her folks... therefore, I just pulled out something I haven't smoked for a while - a Tatuaje Unicos from early '08 - I'm looking forward to the smoke and I'm sure it won't disappoint. :thumbs:

I agree - I rarely look for a good cigar to smoke on an unspectacular day; It's just the opposite. I like to enjoy good cigars on relatively happy occasions. However, this logic doesn't pertain to brew. :whistling:
