    MC LE 2008

Just do your best to convince everyone they are terrible before all the supply is gone. Not only are mine amazing, but you definitely get the perception that they will age very, very well.

Yet another change in the Warranty Seal

When do you think it was changed specifically? Months or serial numbers? Also notice that the bottom print is no longer the string of repeating words, checkout CUBAIAREP

    MC LE 2008

To me, when you get one that's been well cared for and is still oily, it's like a cigar that comes out of a book humidor. That thing will be mind-bending for years. I'm going to order as many as I can.

    MC LE 2008

Damn, I was hoping everyone was going to avoid talking about them, I have a few left and they are mind bending, plus very strong, you know they're going to be amazing in a few years.

    Guess the Vitola

Damn, it wasn't between 8pm and 10pm was it? She was working late. Did the guy look like he was from Spain? Or Switzerland?

    Guess the Vitola

I wasn't stressed out at first, I just posted up to say look at this crazy damn stick I got in my box, then everyone starts chiming in " you got hosed!" and it sticks in your mind.it's like someone saying " I saw your girlfriend across town at a club with some dude, I think"

    Guess the Vitola

Update: Went over to my buddy's house last night, after the Hennessy's Cigar Social, and ended up cracking open a box of his PSD4's from 2005 for extensive analysis. First of all, boxes are 100% identical in every way, except for the date code. I'm inclined to think the date code is okay since...

    Guess the Vitola

It seems like the cigar is fake but the vendor and box is real. So, either the vendor has turned to supplementing their funding by pushing fakes or it's occuring somewhere n the distribution channel. Oh well.

    Cuban seal

As I recall originally the letters were supposed to stay red, which they would do with some minor UV stuff in there. I've now seen the numbers glowing on other boxes, I'll try and post up a picture.

    Cuban seal

I checked through this tonight and found the same. I think that's supposed to be standard now however only my H Upmann's glow the numbers. For some reason I thought Habanos printed those things in bulk and serialized them, so there should be no variance in design on cigars from the same month...

    Guess the Vitola

The theme seems about right in this case, enough volume flows through and maybe some odd stuff gets passed through. It stuns me though that I can't detect anything wrong with the box or cigars until you smoke one. It also occurs to me that you can't accidentally get short filler in a cuban...

    Guess the Vitola

The linear purple date code is interesting, it eliminates that as a sign since Strayvector is sure of his source. What's the consensus here? That it's a fake cigar but there's no visual indication from the packaging and presentation until it's cut open? Or that it's most likely a poor example of...

    Guess the Vitola

It's a linear box code or stacked? And did it come from the same source or different? Do you see anything in the pictures of the box, band etc.. that seems different?

    Guess the Vitola

It's pretty perplexing. Does anyone else notice any other discrepancies that I haven't noticed? All I've got is odd inline date code, purple ink. Never seen that. My experience is not that broad though.

    Guess the Vitola

You know what? I'm not sure I've ever seen a non-stacked date code either. I went all the way through my humidor and couldn't find one. Of course I don't have any 25 count boxes left around since I've been ordering 10,12's and 15's for so long for variety. This PSD4 is the only 25 I've had in a...

    Guess the Vitola

A couple smoked great, to me it's definitely cuban leaf. Taste good/okay for a cuban. then I smoked one and it blocked out too early, irritated me and I tore it apart, normal leaf, little odd but then a small amount of short filler towards the head. thought I must be crazy and it shriveled in...

    Guess the Vitola

This box came a month ago, it's purple. I've gotten a wide variety of date codes on boxes and relative color levels in general between normal boxes. As I understand it they produce the same cigars are made in different factories as time goes on. For example I have two boxes of cohibas that are...

    Guess the Vitola

Maybe because you're in New England, in San Diego dago means San Diego. Growing up with the kids I did, it's just what we called our own home. The R6 is a type of motorcycle, we tend to hold onto the screen names we have for a long time.
