One of those small spray bottles they sell in the travel toiletries section of Target/Wally world, filled with distilled water, is great for "recharging" beads. Just a couple spritz's and your back in business. I think the beads, FOG's correct me if Im wrong, should be kept around 50/50...

Definitely go with the beads. Completely idiot proof. Target has hygrometers in the section with the space heaters for $10 if you want to pitch the analog.
