My sentiments, exactly. I've had some burning issues with the perfecto legends once in a while and some of the other sizes perform better, but these are one of the few offerings from Gurkha worth the refined fuel.
Great post, although even with all the acclaim the WOAM has never really done it for me (and i'm a maduro fan). In my experience though cigars that have plumed do taste a head above the rest of the same vitola and this one had a nice glittery wrapper. Perhaps i'll have to keep the couple i...
I second the vote on the Quinteros. I used to like the Piedras as well, but about a year ago i think i just burned them out. I would also give honorable mention to Ramon Allones belvederes (aged stock is easy to find if you know where to look) and Partagas shorts.
Usually it's gonna be a sungrown or a maduro for me. Reason being? There are a couple. Maduros have a special sweetness that i enjoy. I also tend to like medium to full bodied cigars and/or ones with more flavor. There are some damn flavorful lighter wrapped cigars out there (Zino Platinum...

I use the above mentioned...
I'm currently working on splitting up a few boxes of island goodies amongst friends:
Juan Lopez coronas (2001) :D
Cohiba Siglo III
Partagas Serie P No.2
Trinidad Coloniales
I've never had the coronas in the Juan Lopez or the coloniales in the TTT, so i'll be looking forward to those. I've...
Although we've got an extremely restrictive statewide smoking ban here in WA state, i'm lucky enough to have two locals near my home which are both on Native reservation land, so i can still go to one or the other for a good time at a cigar lounge. However, i still smoke the majority of my...
Hyper-charged, fuel-injected and liquid-cooled VTX 1800 retro, jet black. I've upgraded the pipes (for power/sound), the fork springs (cornering performace) and tons of other add ons as well such as chrome accessories, grips, mirrors, white out tail lights, RPM guage, etc. Sorry for the blurry...
