    Planet of the Apes

Hey SFG, I will admit thatI liked it. I also like all of Adam Sandler's movies too, so I guess that's not much of a surprise. I guess I just look at movies for entertainment, and don't expect much from them.

    Cigar Bid

Maybe it's just me, but I never found any real deals on Cbid. Maybe save a dollar or two, but for the most part having to wait 5 days to see if you get the cigars or not is not worth it for me. With all the good merchants out there, you can find really good prices on almost any cigar, with...

Do You Wear Your Seat Belt?

I wear mine out of habit, if nothing else.

    Planet of the Apes

Hey since we are on the topic of the King of Pop, how is he similar to Nancy Kerrigan? They both came in a little behind.

    CAO Brazilia

BTW, for some reason at Niceashcigars the 5 packer is 25.00, while the box of 20 costs 123.50. Am I missing something, or does the box cost 25.00???? Should I stock up or what?

Class A and Class B cigars

If that's true, I sure hope that third country is somewhere in the Far East. No reason really, just a pointless hope. :whistling:

    Planet of the Apes

I liked it a lot, but was mildly disturbed by the likeness that female monkey character bore to Michael Jackson...it kinda ruined some of the parts for me :D

    CAO Brazilia

Well I was surprised but this CAO Brazilia Amazon is a damned good cigar. Great construction. Nice firm draw, lots of smoke. Ash is a nice gray color, and is nice and firm. The taste so far is not very complex, just a nice black coffee taste with undertones that I am still trying to place a...

Hiya, noob to noob! I would second the opinion that you are a prime candidate for a nice big Coolerdor and 2 pounds of beads. Welcome!

Calling anyone who knows anything about desks...

:D Just hope he doesn't blow the wad on a walk in Humi, a cab of 1927 vintage camaroons, 111 cases of PAMs and 54 pounds of 65% beads. I know I would be tempted :sign:

Calling anyone who knows anything about desks...

Hey Bill, I know you smoke cigars, buy you must breathe Jaguars! Being a Ford guy myself (I bleed Ford blue), I would have suggested a Ford GT.

    Where to Smoke

As a carpenter in training, I could build a decent 10 x 10 room in 3 days with help from a few friends. Finishing the interior with drywall, carpeting, paint etc would take a little longer, but if you tackle this in the summer, it really wouldn't be too bad. I just wish real estate in Hawaii...

Telling RH of cigars without a hygrometer

WARNING: OBVIOUS INFORMATION AND OVER-DRAMATIZATION OF BORING FACTS TO FOLLOW (MAYBE NOT TOO OBVIOUS TO OTHER NOOBS) When I just started smoking cigars and keeping them in a humidor with distilled water credos and half working analog hygros, I would come across a plugged cigar here and there...

    20 cigars a day!

Hey, this would be the perfect thread for me to ask my most burning, unanswered question so far: Considering cigars were around for a long time, before hygrometers and temperature controlled humidors, how and for how long do you guys think cigars were held onto before being smoked back then...

Hey Matt, awesome list, I will have to check some of those out.

    Wrapper won't burn

What kind of cigars are they? I have noticed that if I get overly enthusiastic with the enjoyment of the cigar and take too many drags one after the other, the filler will burn strong and fast, to the point that it doesn't let the outer binder and wrapper catch up to it. The result is uneven...

Salt Test on the test bench:

Hey Eins, I would really interested in that salt test redux too, since I also have a nagging feeling that the salt test is less reliable than is toted to be, or at least it takes a little more precision than just dampening the salt till it cakes up. Hopefully you will prove my thoughts wrong...
