    Is there such a Thing.....

I'd say you are lucky. Many ex cig smokers like myself are mighty puffers and burn a cigar too fast. Sometimes I have to consciously slow down when I get carried away. Theres no doubt cigars taste better when smoked slowly. It sounds as if you naturally don't overheat your gars  .

    Best order to smoke in?

I'm laughing with you. Guessing by your question, you are new to cigars, and three back to back smokes will decimate your taste buds  . Go for it, have fun, but smoke the best cigar first. By the third smoke, you will not be able to tell what you are smoking.

    Spanish cedar lining

If you watch e-bay, there are auctions for small lots of thin spanish cedar boards. I have found what I needed a couple of times at reasonable prices.

    My God, the smell!

Yep, the smell from my habanos humidor is delicious! Richer than the aroma from the NC humidor by a long shot!

    Top Three tobacs

Narrowing the choices to three baccy's dosen't say much about my favorites. There are about 10 to 15 blends in my stash that are top notch and would be considered favorites. Here are three: A&C Peterson-Escudo Dunhill-Light Flake Rattray-Old Gowrie Oh Hell, I can't leave these out: Samuel...

    Herfin' Blues

I just enjoy smoking cigars. Driving, working in the yard, at the computer, with friends, alone, spending time with the wife, these are all just things I'm doing while enjoying the cigar.

    Humidor troubles

All of the above with this addition: The humidor won't stabilize in hours (you mentioned waiting 10 hours). Look for Rh stability in terms of weeks. The more you open and close the box, slop water around, play with the cigars, etc. the longer it will take to stabilize. Relax, though, the...

    Extra rare GURKHA

I've smoked em, and they are pretty good.

    Perdomo Silvio

I have picked a few at auction prices to try, and I liked them. Kinda spicy and light. The wrappers are very fragile and gave me some splitting problems.

    Opus X

*L* looks like you found some no problem. I have to echo the other So Cal smokers and say they are easily available at hideous prices in my area. Pretty good smoke though.

Getting to know pipe smokers on the web...

My tastes are limited to VA, VA/Perique, and Burley. I shop online and buy both bulk and tinned, paying from $25 to $60 a pound. Everything gets aged at least a couple of years before making it into my rotation. Bulk blends get home canned and put up by myself. Doubtfull if I will ever get...

    Regarding OpusX family

Life would get mighty dull if every person enjoyed the exact same things.

Too many for my budget, not enough for my appetite  .

    AF Hemi Short Story

Doesn't really matter. I whack some off the end to get it going faster-no patience.
