have had 4 or 5 from an '02 cab.be prepared to wait a loooooooooong time...at 3 years they are not ready(barely smokable)and would guess that they wont be ready for another 5 or 6 years.3 years and still juicy/youthfull.
derrek :D
cg's are what i reach for when i want a larger smoke(not very often).best i have had...(1)upmann super coronas(by a mile)...(2)psd#3...(3)rs#11...so i voted for the rs#11.
derrek :)
have tried lots...cazadores, nacionales, petite cetros, and robustos(not made any more).i like em...my favorites lately petite cetros .
like already said...pretty straight forward...but tasty.
derrek :)
dont know about the rest but i like the cohiba clubs...go though 2 or 3 twenty packs a year.
i believe age helps these also...about a year takes a bit of the edge/bite off em.
after the first year they dont seem to change /develope much...
derrek :)
almost all of my cigars have been purchased young from cuba(less than 3 years old)...wouldnt have it any other way.i age them myself and believe this is a better way than buying aged cigars...the results i get are (in my opinion)way better than any cigar store/internet vendor can achieve.
yes i...

nope
the serial no on the seal should be from around '00 or '01.
serial numbers on the seal began (about)january '00 with the letters AA******
and progressed through the alphabet from there.
also the factory code"eog"has not been used since mid'03(i think).
derrek :D
probably the serial no. on the seal...
find out the date on the box...my guess...should be late '00 or sometime '01
(from the bo at the beggining of the serial no.)

problem is...once you have tried aged habanos and find out how good they are...its all down hill.
upmann#2...dont know much about these
punch rs#12...best kept secret of the petite corona size...dont hear much about them...very punch , very sweet , above medium strength.age wonderfully as...
same as threei...short review of the ones i have tried(bearing in mind robustos/churchills/pyramids are not my "size")more than a few of...
upmann mag46...best upmann has to offer(now that super coronas have been discontinued)and what i reach for when i want a "larger" smoke.
upmann #2...only...

the bottoms of the boxes are not varnished...dont worry they WILL get to the same rh as your cooler in a year or two...even tubes with the cap (tightly)closed will get to the same humidity as your cooler faster than you think it would happen.
"They can't breathe (cough, cough)."i keep all...
"DENOMINACION DE ORIGEN PROTEGIDA"is on the habanos sticker of three boxes that i have...all 3 are from '04(the only '04 boxes i have(yet)).yours are also '04("The production date is May 04").
so the habanos sticker is good...the rest wellllll i wont comment...have never had a box of quai...
crap...cant edit a poll...rod any chance you could delete a zero from every number???on the other hand would be interesting if someone answered 40k and who that someone is!

try a pole and you will probably get more replies.the guys that have LOTS of smokes are pretty shy about divulging just how obsessed they really are :whistling: ...if it can be done anonymously you should get more answers.
