    Sharpen a cutter or punch?

SAK has the same gig, lifetime warranty, plus all the other tools you may find handly. I find that when I herf, the corkscrew and bottle opener play a big role. Toothpick works great after BBQ too.

Looking for a Good cutter need Advice

SAK! Cuts pretty damn good IMO, and has a bunch of other usefull tools, especially if drinking while smoking. Extremely stylish, and lifetime warranty. A bit heavy though to carry around. Another good cutter I have is the Craftsmans Bench double blade cheapy. The Palio does best in tests...

Le Veja Habana 15 bucks a box at cigarmonster.com

These are pretty good. Just had one with a month on it, slightly harsh but not bad. The best sub-$1 cigar you will have. They don't look great, and the packaging is 'unique'. Get a box of these and a box of Famous Nic 3000's, which will get you free shipping, and you've got probably the two...

    What did you smoke today

Had a perdomo fresh rolled cuban wheel torpedo with about 2 months on it last night. Looked great, smoked great, spicy but still a slight bit harsh. Seems like these are a decent bundled cigar, they just need some rest.

    What did you smoke today

La Vieja Habana Cedar Chateau No 3, pretty damn good despite being rather fresh. A few months to smooth out the bite, and this will be the best .85 cent cigar i've ever smoked.

    Any Drew Estate fans?

Had a Drew CI Legends last night and really liked it. While I can take the occasional flavored stick, usually all I taste is the infused flavors. The Copper legend though was the total package. While the infusion was still a bit too strong IMO, the wonderful tobbacco taste was there too, and...

    Cutters

I used the 'score' method for a few months, then I started trying some smaller RG vitolas and found that the binder opening was often smaller than the cap. So, the binder was restricting the draw, and I had to clip them anyway just to get a decent draw. I said F-it and went back to my cheapy...

    Cutters

Gettiny my swiss army this week, after reading a bunch of great reviews. So far all i've tried though are cheapy cutters and a havana cutter, which worked GREAT the whole 4 days I had it/ Then the SO returned our rental car without getting it out of the glove compartment.

    Perdomo Event nearby

I like the millenario mistakes maduro with a few months on them. Nice size, excellently rolled.

    RP Vintage Perfecto

Got one a few weeks back, for the winter. Probably try it when I get over this cold. Seems a nice size for cold weather, curious if they can get all that flavor in the shorter vitola though.

    Gurkha Expedition Torpedo

Hey, it's all you man, thanks. I can't really say I didn't like it, but it just wasn't my bag. 200+% better experience than the first one I had. Unfortunately i'm sick AGAIN this week, and real hard, so dunno if I can get outta the house much less smoke. Gotta work all week though, if I take...

Yet another 5 Vegas Gold Review

Great review. I really enjoyed the one I had a few months back. As CI says, this is an excellent morning cigar, but it has the depth of flavor to smoke after a good evening meal too. I did not find the flavors as complex as you did, but i'm still a n00b in alot of ways.

    Gurkha Expedition Torpedo

I was recently gifted this cigar by an extremely thoughtful Ghurkha-whore/BOTL here on cigar pass. I had one previously, and had not liked it at all. Mrepp took it upon himself to change my mind about Gurkha. It already had a year on it, butI let it sit for a week, and finally found...

    Exquisite Fuente

The other day at work I was on lunch and McDonalds was working super fast, I got in, out, and done in minutes. I realized I had 45 minutes left of my break, was enjoying a cool day relaxing in my car with The Wall playing, and decided that was the perfect opportunity to get a short smoke in. I...

    Who here favors Torpedos...

I like them because you cat tailor the cut to meet your perfect ratio of draw to smoke concentration. Plus, they have plenty of room to re-cut if the draw is too tight. I've heard the 'better quality' thing, but never noticed much of a difference.

    What's a good, cheap smoke?

Famous Nicuraguan 3000's, $2 a stick, awesome. Perdomo millenario 'mistakes' can be found at this price point, easy. Famous RP sungrown seconds.

    Tampa Sweethearts

I just had one of those perdomod mistakes maduro after about 4 months rest, and damn, they are MUCH better. Huge difference in smoothness and flavor.
