I ran a pass like this Blind Shall Lead the Blind Pass. You can add some conditions to avoid bad plays. I put a minimum value of $2/cigar, and required that everyone say something about thier puts. I found it to be an enjoyable pass, even though I'm a neurotic freak of a pass host.

EDS is an excellent mild cigar. I hear that the torpedos are the best of the lot (I've only had the robustos). I've never had a EDS maduro though, so BigFatDog, if you wind up getting a box of the EDS Maduro torpedos, feel free to send one or two my way :whistling:

The Beaujolais are nice if you feel like drinking without thinking much about it. Very quaffable wine. I'd second the Casillero del Diablo. Super value in a wine. If you go a little higher (always if you go a little higher...), I think there are some really nice wines in the $10-20 range...

When I bought my last house, the housing inspector told me about failed water heaters that blasted off, punching a hole through up to two stories of house. What I'd like to see is someone do that in a somewhat controlled manner... maybe add some fins and a nose cone --a water heater rocket!

To add to this, I was doing some wine shopping tonight and saw the Noval 1999 lbv on sale for $18 at a local store. I did not buy it since I had already overspent. I looked up some reviews and wish that I had since many seem to consider it better than the 1998.

I got to thinking about how to sample vintage port. If I just start buying it, it would be like 10-15 years before I find out if the brand is one that I like. Since late bottle vintage is made mostly the same way, I figured getting lbv ports would be a good way to sample the styles of each...

We haven't hit this yet (my daughter is only two), but this sort of thing is part of why we are happy to have an entertainment room with full sleepover capabilities in the basement and all the bedrooms on the second floor. Good luck man! :laugh:
