    Dry Boxing

I've been thinking about using a lower RH Boveda pack in a travel humidor since that's what I usually take out with me anyway. I've got a 69%RH pack in there now.

    Dry Boxing

So far I've been keeping my humidor at 70%RH and I'm thinking that I'd like to start a dry box for stuff I'm getting ready to smoke.   I smoked a cigar I bought in the newbie trade that I really liked, I bought a box and they are good but not as good as that last stick. Maybe it's just an age...

    9/11 where were you?

I was working at Cape Cod Air Force Station, what a hectic and surreal day. I had to work overtime running extra phone lines.

outdoor smoking in the late fall/winter

You'd have to be standing right underneath it... if you plan on being 5 feet away relaxing you'll be freezing your ass off.   I have stood onder one while waiting for a table in a restaurant and they doo keep you warm... if you are right next to it.

Do you see the Gallery as a valuable feature?

The thing I like about the gallery is that I actually get to see the pics... the firewall here at work where I do most of my posting filters out pics from most of the other hosting sites.

I'm pretty sure the Ave Maria is a Cigars International brand.  I had a couple last year and remember liking them.

    Today's smoke - 2014

I didn't have any cigars with me for my drive home, so I stopped at a convenience store to see what they had, I picked up the best looking cigar I saw called a Carbon Copy P torpedo. I figured from the name that it was a knockoff. It was a good smoke. I looked it up when I got home and it's a...

Switched to Boveda, now have a problem

I have a 300ct humidor and I used to have Bovedas in mine and they did pretty well during the summer months when it was humid, but when the humidity dropped in the winter, they didn't do as well. That's when I bought my cigar oasis and it's been really stable ever since.    I still keep some of...

Is this a new humidor?  Has it been properly seasoned?

Switched to Boveda, now have a problem

Why did you switch from the Cigar Oasis?  Was it a power thing?  You can get a battery pack for them if thats why. I really like mine...
