    DFW Herf 1/15 Tuesday

I'm not sure exactly what next week holds for me, but I'm going to give it my best to make it. I've heard some good things about that shop recently, and I'm looking forward to connecting with some more DFW smokers. I hope to see some of you guys there! D

    I thought this was interesting

That's the coolest thing I've seen in a while. If I had the cash I think I would have to bring that thing home. D

    CAO america

Mike, you know what's funny? I've been to the shop three times now, and this last time was the first time I've walked into the "other" humidor. Jeff couldn't find these when they first came out. This thread started several months ago, but someone dug it up a couple of days ago. D

Cigar Aficienado Top 10 is out....

The exclusion of Tatuaje made me disregard the list. I really enjoy some of the cigars on that list, but not including Tatuaje is criminal IMO. D

He hasn't been banned. He just hasn't been around. D

    Reccomendations for a Travel Humi?

My personal choice given your use would be an otterbox if I could live with less storage. If not, I would go with the one JHolmes posted. The Lock 'n Lock type that he mentioned also work fine. I actually use one of those as my herfdor. D

    Reccomendations for a Travel Humi?

What are you going to use it for? How much does it need to hold? D

    What did you smoke today

HDM Excalibur - It's always fun to revisit one of the sticks that got you hooked, and this was no disappointment. Padilla Miami 8/11 Robusto - A good cigar, but the last third was bitter and I had to let it go out. It's a shame because I planned on nubbing this one. I'm a little perplexed...

***Award Notification! CONGRATULATIONS! Your Email Has Won 3 M

I wish I could laugh. These guys piss me off so bad but there isn't anything that can be done about them. I have a good customer at the bank in his eighties. He received a similar letter, unfortunately he bought it. He was once worth well over a million dollars. These criminals have...

    The Last Cigar

A man after my own heart. I think this would be my choice as well. D

Special on box of Montecristo numero 2

You might want to try a CAO Moontrance. It sounds like it would be right up your alley. D

    Prayers Needed for the Princess

Wow, when it rains it pours. I'm so sorry to hear about all this. You guys will definately be in my prayers. If there is anything you need, let me know because I'm not far away if you need something. D

    It's been a while.

Wow, I tried searching for some of the answers and couldn't even get close. Too bad one of my friends isn't around (she's a fanatic for the show that could probably answer these without even having to think about it for long). Good luck to anyone that can get these right! D

    Another Padron X000 Question

I think the 3000 was my favorite, although it might have been the 4000 (G&C88 remembers which one it was, but I always get it backwards). Although I enjoyed it more, it was by a slight margin over the 2000. I hated the 2000's at first, but I left the remaining ones alone for a few months...

    Breckenridge Brewery's Vanilla Porter

I've had their oatmeal stout, and it's OK but nothing special. It sounds like that isn't the case with the vanilla porter though. If you find the oatmeal stout, go with Samuel Smith's instead. I'll see if I can find any of their other stuff locally. D

    Perdomo Habano Maduro Presidente

I'm not a Perdomo fan, but I've enjoyed this line of cigars. That was a great review, and my expiences have been in line with yours. I found them pretty strong for a Perdomo also. The couple that I smoked were in the same league as DPG and LFD in terms of strength. D

So what are your New Years Resolutions?

Well that isn't ambitious at all is it? Good luck to you! You have some great goals. I would like to make some solid career moves this year as well as paying off all consumer debt and getting ready to buy my first house next year. My health goals are a bit hard to attain, but I'm going for...

    Cigar Review Tips and Tricks

It's funny you guys would mention that. I noticed the same thing a few weeks ago while smoking. I've meant to be trying it more often and see what all it changes for me. Exhaling through the nose is still problematic for me, but I'm working on it. D
