I use water or spit on the side that's burning fast to slow it down. That and a touch up or 2 with my lighter usually corrects the problem.

This is a great review. I wonder how our friend is doing these days. This cigar always makes me want to vomit when I smoke it. They always tunnel, burn hot, and taste acrid to me - and it's not my storage that's the problem. I may have got a bad batch or I may need to be loaded to appreciate it.

I made a few purchases on Joe's Jamabala today. Got a 5 pak of CAO Sopranos Associates, 5 pak of CAO Brazalia Gols, and a 5 pak of La Aroma de Cuba (old blend) w/ an ashtray coming.

For a longer smoke I like the Exhibicion #3's also. They're not in my regular rotation but every time I have one it makes me want to get more.

Started off with a 5 Vegas Red, then went to a SCdlH La Punta from June 07 and finished off with a Pelo de Oro. The humidity is getting high here so you have to pick your cigars carefully. Some just don't smoke well in higher humidity.
