I've worked in distilleries all my adult life. When an older bottle of spirits has volume loss, it's not the water that's evaporated, it's the alcohol, since it's more vaporous. If you checked it, you'd find the proof was lower then that on the label.

If the bottle didn't have a light green tint to it, it may have possibly been a line extension called JEREZITO. Did it have a black label? Michael

I recently acquired 2 bottles of Quinta do Noval 1975 Colheita. I've been told that the term/title Colheita is similar to a Vintage description. Any input would be appreciated.
