Ok, so I've never met the man and I only know him through his videos on CA.com, but I've never really liked him much from just watching those videos. To me, he just seems completely pretentious. Plus (I hope I'm not stepping on anybody's toes here!), I find it amazing how he lights his cigars.

That link you just posted seems nice. I don't know quite the reason people would be against glass-top humidors other than the fact that there's less wood surface area and maybe if some temperature changes happened suddenly condensation might build up pretty badly on the glass? I would get one...

Those two quotations would suggest that the first humidor has too many compartments and would be a bitch to keep humidified. MandyPi, however, seems to like the humidor.

I guess I could start up a methane burner around my humidor and autoclave my water and utilities before I used them. :) Yeah, but seriously, seems like I'm just being stupid, hah. Thanks for the advice.

Distilled water is always brought up in any thread that talks about humidors and the likes, but I'm wondering how long I can store a gallon of it. I've read that one of the reasons for using distilled water is so that harmful bacteria and fungus doesn't grown in your humidor. So considering...
