I went into a local store today and there was no more gold on the shelves, replaced by Platinum.  Fans of JWG, grab it up while you can, and fast.  This stuff will have completely gone the way of the dodo bird in a couple months.

Nope, no Cabela's near me.  The Academy near me gets 22 LR once or twice a week but I can only buy 1 box at a time. 

I smoked a Padron Family Reserve 85 years.  I love Padron but this one didn't really do it for me.

I walked into my LGS and he had a HK 416 sitting there.  It was so pretty I couldn't resist.  Now if I could only find some .22 LR...   Also picked up a Mossberg 500 JIC.

Hey Gregg, I did get the barrel. I conducted a ton of "experimentation" with different ryes, vermouths, and bitters (I even used a few different types of cherries), and found what I feel is a good mix for me.  Right after finishing the testing I sold my house and moved into my parents' house, so...

I wouldn't think of the bottlers as the Prometheus of the whisky world.  Gordon & McPhail and others do some really cool stuff, and it's not all marked up ridiculously either.

Nice Jim!    I'm still waiting on the craziness to die down so I can pick up a few things.  It's crazy out there!  Did manage to get my hands on a Gen4 Glock 34.  Looking to do a couple GSSF matches this year, then on to either IDPA or USPSA.
