greycliff cremas(petite corona)...these are the ONLY non habanos that i smoke regularly...maybe one every couple of months.they burn hot and fast and are only for those who know how to smoke a cigar slowly.they are tasty and rich in flavour tho. derrek :)

toaster i do like ryj's and was not overawed by the cazadores.they are a good smoke(i like the ryj floral taste)but i would not consider them a powerhouse but a 3 1/2 of 5.now the ryj tpc's i have are the strongest smokes i have...go figger. derrek :)

a fellow worker gave me 4 "peso cigars" last night...he is new here after 3 years working in cuba. they are the ugliest looking smokes i have EVER seen... the one i had was rough finish on the wrapper and it was bent(curved) ...but the smoke itself was suprising...a nice smooth(yet strong)...

i find most smoke shops way overhumidify there smokes...only one were i buy regularly and i just take my own to smoke and buy a few to take home.i can humidify my smokes better than any store.(63% to 66% but thats a personal thing) i think that the humidifiers are set correctly its just the...

toaster perhaps i misslead you ...i do open the boxes and look for evidence of bugs and get rid of the extra paper ,quadrilingual message etc. i dont smoke from a box for at least a year after i get em. derrek :)

think in terms of years not weeks. any smokes i get(regardless of box age)i put away for a year...after that i will seldom open the box before they are 2 or 3 years old.'abanos take patience and most of the complaints you hear are (i believe)due to youth. derrek :)

mm or mb/hf cigars i have tried... ryj coronitas en cedro...yum at 3 years...cedary and powerful cohiba clubs...the best 12 minute cigar bolivar chicos...14$ a box for bolivar taste petite upmann...ok at 3 years...need to learn to smoke em slow jlpiedras...petit...

tschoon i use 4 coolers and never put anything in em...just the slices of cedar dividers from the boxes.dont bother with shelves or cedar just buy it and start using it to store boxes. derrek :)

forgot one in the glove compartment of my truck for a couple of months(during the summer so fer sure it got up over 100F)it was in a ziploc.no mold or little horrors but i lit it right away ... it was dry and crackled a bit...after a while it quit crackling and just smoked hot and fast .should...

was in an LCDH store and was about to leave when i asked if they had any upmann super coronas...the lady dissapeared for a few minutes...when she returned she said "sorry but the only box of super coronas they had were very old" nice surprise....'94 upmann super coronas at regular retail price...

i use ziplocs...as long as you dont put em in your back pocket or otherwise mistreat your smokes ziplocs are fine...have used them for a weeks storage no problems. derrek :)

shuji my favorite smoke...bar none.go through about a cab a year of these wonderful little cigars.sounds like yours had a bit of age...they can be a bit overpowering and metalicky tasting when young...at about 5 years they are reborn,still power packed but smooth and tasty. derrek :)
