Thanks for all the help.... and thankfully I am not screwed . The box was seasoned. I used a friends digi hygrometer, and the readings were just about the same When I added a seccond humidification device my problems were solved I will prob give the beads a try too and see what works best...

i usually can't wait to long... so i start smoking right away... but one can always see a difference after 6 months. Most of the harsh tones have mellowed out. The sticks i am able to hold off smoking for a few years are worth their weight in gold
