    Affliction - Day of Reckoning

Fedor is a good fighter so I don't want to sound like I'm bashing him. He hasn't really fought anyone in their prime and had a clearly decisive victory. He couldn't finish Mirko or Big Nog. He ducked Barnett once before and all of a sudden they are friends and he doesn't want to fight him...

    Affliction - Day of Reckoning

That was Vitor Belfort KTFO Matt Lindland. That looked like Vitor from before his sister was kidnapped. If this in fact what we can expect I look for a real challenge for Silva... and I think he could beat him.

    Affliction - Day of Reckoning

I agree completely. Arlovski was beat twice by Sylvia and I doubt that anyone would call him even top 15 pfp. I was really surprised that AA even got the fight. I thought Burnett deserved it and I believe that he would put up a better fight and best chance of beating Fedor. Can you believe that...

    Opus X "A"

Nice review. I lit up a perfection no. 5 in celebration of the Cardinals win myself. I have an A and I am a bit intimidated by it!! Go Cards!!!

    My projects, ashtrays, Humidors etc.

As has been said many times here...Amazing craftsmanship. Woodworking is becoming a lost art. My father and I are what I call old school carpenters. We have built cabinets, several computer desk. Even all of the trim in my parents house we made and it looks fantastic but nothing to the caliber...

Waiting for humidor in mail, how can I humidify them in mean tme? Use

I second this. I tried the same thing when I first started and the results were less than stellar.

    Just bought my first humidor

What will be fun is you'll start inventing new ways to make sure you can afford to fill it. There is always change laying around waiting to be cashed in.  Almost nothing hurts as much as opening your humi and seeing extra space. Great box!!

I'm struggling to keep the humidity at 70%

My desktop has the same issue. During the winter months I put in a drymistat tube and it keeps it right at 65% and it only takes the place of one cigar. When it warms back up I go back to just the gel. Good Luck!!!

    Padron lawsuit - 'Anniversario' name?

Does Romeo y Julieta have any hand in this because they also have an Anniversario line? Correction. I just dug one of the RyJ's out and it is spelled Aniversario.

    Padron 1964 Aniversario/Anniversary

Awesome review. I really enjoyed reading it. You know you're reading a good review when you can picture yourself smoking the reviewed stick. A+++

    AF 8-5-8

I am sure about that 85%. I noticed on their digital hydro I clarified with them that it was calibrated. The owner stated he kept it that high because of in/out traffic. That explanation made sense to me. I don't buy many cigars from there. From the sound of it I won't be buying anymore.

    New 2009 SCHIP Bill

I'll just keep on. "So what I'm gonna do is piss and moan like an impotent jerk, bend over, and take it up the tail pipe!!!"  I love my leafy friends to cut down now.

    AF 8-5-8

Talking about possible wetness actually makes sense. The particular shop I purchased these from keeps their walk-in at about 85% but would that affect the taste after almost five months? Or is this now permanent and the sticks unfixable? I am more than willing to let them sit. I have a small...

    AF 8-5-8

I smoke the Hoyo Excalibur No.1 more often than anything and I enjoy the hemingway thoroughly. The after taste is what is so bitter. You guys might be right, they might not fit my taste after all I have heard other people say they did not enjoy the Opus. (Good for the wallet I guess.) But that...

    AF 8-5-8

They are stored properly around 65%-68% RH and 71 degrees. I keep my "ready" to smoke singles in there own desktop humi and no problems out of my others. Perhaps after some of the responses I will let them sit awhile and give them another try.

Your Favorite Place/Environment to Burn One...

During warm months sitting on my deck basking in the sun. In the winter my own little man cave in my basement with occasional visits from my wife. :whistling: If it's not to windy or cold I also like to take a walk and smoke.

    AF 8-5-8

I purchased 10 AF 8-5-8's on the recommendation of a friend. I have smoked three of them and they are just terrible. :( :( I couldn't believe how bitter these things tasted. I will probably give the rest away. Has anyone else experienced this or did I just get a few bad sticks? I have enjoyed...
