    The Beginning of the End

I knew there was a reason I bought 2 rolls of weatherstripping, my brain already knew I would need it for the next one!

    The Beginning of the End

This sounds familiar.... I bought a 60qt 2 weeks ago, 1 lb of beads, and a remote read hygro. I'm about 3 boxes away from filling that, wait it's 2 now, click and ship is way to easy. This quickly becoming a sickening and delightful hobby all at the same time. Do we have a 12 step...

Anyone know what these cigars are worth?

Can't wait to see this autopsy! If I didn't know any better, I would have thought those were some damn fine smokes too. Thankfully, I've been reading more than buying. ;)

    My Desktop humi...

Thanks Brian, I see what you mean. I also think I found the offending sticks as well. It was a 5 pack of RyJ tubes that were in a plastic bag, plus 2 CDL #3 that I never unwrapped after the shipping process. I feel like such a dumbass.

    My Desktop humi...

Just when I though I had things figured out... I open it yesterday expecting to enjoy the sweet smell of cigars, nope. Musty, musty, musty. SHIT. I've got 65% beads in it, the temp was around 72F. All the cigars were in ziplocks. The only thing I did different with it was place in my new...

    Cuban chewing tobacco?

I don't think so, but I haven't looked either. They do have Skoal bandit type pouches etc. Their snuff tends to be on the wetter side, more like thick mud that our grainy brands.

    Spanish cedar lining

I don't know about other areas, but around here every millwork shop around town is using Spanish Cedar and or Mahogany to make doors, windows etc. I'm planning on going by mine to ask if I can root through the scrap pile for my "ice chest humi"! To hell with Home Depot.

A question for the almighty AVB

When I first started in on single malts, I tried the following and loved each. Scapa 12 yr, Highland Park, very interesting Talkisker, very flavorful too. Good Price. The Glendronach is awesome as well, damn I need another bottle of that, thanks for the reminder!

    Cuban chewing tobacco?

Looks like everyone will have to get their own, they are limiting orders to one car per person, at least for now.

    Ashton ESG

Nice review. My local humi had a bunch of these Saturday, I opted to buy 3 Opus-x, the daily limit, and a PAM though. I guess I'll have to try one of these too.

    Xprinter Cuban Cigars Analysis

Very good post. Another newbie is greatful. I performed a similiar autopsy on some sticks I smoked the other night. Thankfully, they were legit, they sure tasted that way to.

    Cuban chewing tobacco?

Very cool. The Swedish are the worlds greatest users of snuff/snus. I think the use rate among men there is something like 85%, if I remember the stats I read somewhere on the net. I have tried the Swedish stuff on occasion, I normally use Copenhagen between cigars, and it was very nice. I...

    Help with IDing Suspected Fake

Wow, that's a scary post. Another reason I am scared to try Cohiba's, I don't mind buying the lesser known and less often counterfeited brands though. Thanks for that informative post. Sure helped me.

Thanks for the 411! I knew someone would have the right answer here. Lee

HDM Epi #2's Banded or Not?

I have seen these recently advertised banded and unbanded in the cabinet boxes, is this common due to these coming from different factories? My cabinet of 25 is from Spain, May 1998 code. I've had these for awhile, obviously, and never thought to check them out until now, I know I know...
