From what I have understood Short Story Maduro's are made only for special events such as CF event held once a year and what ever the Fuente's decide to send or give to. I have recieved a few over the past years and yes everytime I recieve them I smoke those suckers.

If you are a Maduo fan then this cigar is for you, Plenty of flavor and great volumes of smoke with every one have smoked over the past few years. Even better with some humi time also.

Have a island Trinidad about three years on it left from a box I split, and a Diomand crown Maduro Figurado about 3 years old that could get in line also. Still have to go looking and see.

Maybe you do not remember but Hoyo de Monterey and Punch from General make a Double Maduro in the Rothschild. Great smoke for a short one. Also inexpensive compared to others in the some class of cigar.

WOAM are great but the signature and Classic Maduro are just as good IMOP. I like these over between the lines and with a year age on them are even better. Most anything Fuente, Ashton, and the J.C Newman line does in Maduro is good off the shelf and even better aged at least 6 months or longer...

Bulk Tobacco is just as good as the tins, tins are packaged for a higher sale. Some of the best tobacco comes in bulk and can be purchased at a much lower cost and have the quality of the more expensive tin products.

been breaking in a new pipe with just tobacco. Always smoke it 3 times full before it settles down. Sometimes folks use a small amount of honey in the bowl something of a very light glaze works. I prefer just plain smoking it with my regular tobacco.
