The food there there is excellent! Two other notable places in the area, "OK" also on Grand by Elizabeth and Shanghai Cafe 100 Mott Street which is notable for their soup pork dumplings! As good or better than Joe's Shanghai.

Not installed as of yet, but they are planned. Honestly it was quite comfortable in the tent and under the awning in the low 60s. The tented area is fully enclosed so it should be easy to keep warm. The awning area should be comfortable in the low 50s with heater or two and the awning...

Swung by the Brass Monkey yesterday. Good news, bad news. The front half of the deck (nearer the door, nearer the river) is fully covered. Tops, sides, totally enclosed. But no smoking. The back half, were the three big tables are, has an awning that reaches practically to the front half...

I walked by the Brass Monkey this weekend and they have some sort of tent/contraption up on the deck. I would suggest Brass Monkey as the spot this week ... considering the weather will be agreeable ... plus the tent. A nice venue, might as well take advantage of it before the really cold...

I really like smoking buys and I really like buying cigars. But the real benefit from hanging out on forums is meeting folks, getting together, smoking, and having a good time. pics to follow ....
