    Cohiba vs. Trinidad

All of these are exceptional cigars, with the exception of the Robusto Extra. I would highly recommend the Robusto T, but I cant say the same for the RE. Otherwise, there are slight differences in taste. There is no wrong answer here. Enjoy your cigars, Drew P

    Cohiba alternative

Welcome to the board. For smooth and creamy I would recommend the H. Upmann Magnum 46. It has been smoking brilliantly ROTT since late '08. The mid rg H. Upmanns have been very smooth and balanced cigars in '09. I also enjoy the VR Famosos for creaminess with a bit more strength. I have always...

H Upmann Magnum 46 Band change?

Yes, it is possible to have gotten a box of Mag 46 with 1 band. That is one of my favorite cigars in the walk-in at the moment. Enjoy your cigars Cheers Drew P

    Looking for a "starter" CC

The HDM #2 is a fine choice, for a milder, pleasant everyday, midday smoke, but for a bit more complexity I would highly recommend the H. Upmann Mag 46. These have been smoking brilliantly ROTT and you will find the size to be the best of both worlds. Perhaps, as suggested, a sampler is the...

    Robustos vs. Hermosa #4

What is the general consensus, does size matter in a 5" cigar? Do you prefer the 48rg or the 50rg.? Cheers Drew P

Whats the best Petit Corona ?

My choice in the PC category is the H. Upmann. They have had the perfect compliment of flavors for a balanced, slow-smoking mid-day treat. The R&J PC is a close second, and has been very representative of the smaller R&J rg. Cheers Drew P

    Rating My Cuban Smokes

Youve got a very well balanced list. You can quibble about this or that particular review, but you are generally spot on. I am not a RASS lover, although I do note they are very popular. The Boli PC probably deserves another try. The can be very powerful little cigar. Better yet, skip to the...

Last of the Edmundo Dantes Conde 109

Greetings from Merida, Mexico May 27, 2010 Lately, it has been harder and harder to find true anejados in Mexico City, but every once in a while we get lucky. Favorites of the Bolivar Line?

Bolivar has been a great marca for us since 2006. The RC and the CJ have been great cigars to recommend here in a city that likes grilled pork. Bolivar strength and dark molasses, leather and bean flavors go well with Chuletas Empanizado and Poc Chuc. The Boli GM is a wonderful cigar with length...

CC are they realy worth it?

When we are talking about premium hand rolled cigars, I'd argue that there is no difference in price between CC and NC. Feel free to call or contact us anytime you have a question about a specific Cuban cigar. Cheers Drew P

    New Cohiba Behike

So would I. The CGR is in a different class. Fortunately, these are not in that price range. There is something very different about these cigars, in a very good way, like controlled aggressiveness. Cheers Drew P

    Trinidad Fundadores vs Robusto T

There general rule of thumb is that there are no bad Trinidads. The Fundadore is such a completely different smoking experience than the Robusto T. The Reyes is a very solid little cigar and it may even surpass the Siglo I for quality and construction. Enjoy your smokes. Cheers Drew P
