    PAM 64 v. 26

Love the PAN 64s. Have limited experience with the 26s but of the 2 I smoked, one was ok and the other was an out-of-body experience. Given the opportunity, I won't be knocking back either one of them.

    1964 Padron Monarca Maduro

If you don't go back and buy the box I don't want to see a "Regrets..." thread in about a year.

    Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic

I believe you reviewed the black label version. Blue label is also great, in fact I may prefer it slightly to the black (cuban classic). TFTR!

Ashton Heritage Puro Sol #2: Nice way to start the day

Thanks for the review! I've tried a couple of the Puro Sols in larger sizes and haven't found them to my liking. They sure get great reviews though. Diffr'nt strokes...

RyJ Coronitos En Cedros. Ok but not great.

    the best cheap cigar

My vote is for the El Rey Del Mundo Rectangulare. I prefer the natural. One of the only "cheap" cigars I keep in my stock.

    Today's Smoke

Nice yard gar! Yesterday, smoked a Hatuey Special Reserve torpedo. Very mild until the last third when a more fulfilling body kicked in. Followed up with a Punch Black Prince which I found to be tasty but straightforward tobacco flavors with little complexity. Kind of a weird cigar day...

    PAN Exclusivo from '06

Smoked a PAN last night and went looking for reviews. Found this one to be excellent. It's a subtle smoke with subtle complexities and a creamy, nutty flavor I can't get enough of. Ordered my box today.

Looking for a couple of books.

For fiction, anything by Cormac McCarthy. Nonfiction, anything by David Halberstam. That should keep you busy for a while.

    Opinions...

Thanks to everyone that responded. I think I've got a feel for general opinions of the #2. I think I'll hold onto my cash for future options. Oh, and I'm very familiar with the Bolivar PCs. One of my favorites.

    Padrón 1926 Serie No.9 Maduro

Without a doubt, an amazing smoke.

    Opinions...

Already have some #4s and yes they are great. The Cedros are available so I'm wondering whether I should grab them. In other words, it's Cedros or nothing. BTW, I'm interested in impressions, good and bad. Trying to get a sense of what the population thinks of these cigars.

    Opinions...

I'm considering a box. Searched but can't find much in the way of impressions so far. I like a good mild to medium smoke. So what's your opinion on the #2's?

Best mild cigar you ever had

Gotta agree on the Davidoffs. Especially the milleniums. For something a little cheaper try the Fuente Don Carlos line. For dirt cheap but very good mild to medium I like the natural El Rey Del Mundo Rectangulares.
