    Smoke That Cigar Day!

I'm in I do not know what state I will be in "physically as well as mentally" :whistling: But I know I will be having a Jose Seijas' Signature "TORO" that I bought when they were 1st released in 2005 around my neck of the woods. I was only able to buy 6 "store limit" and have only 2 left...

    Nub Sungrown? What the heck?

Me wants to know how it taste?? I have tried a nub with a Cameroon wrapper and it was okay, just wondering if the sungrown's will be any better.

    Laphroaig 15 yo scotch review

Well when I read that they were discontinuing the 15 year I went on the hunt to buy as many bottles as I could afford/find well I found 7 bottles from 6 different package stores in 4 different states and I must say, I must of called 50-60 stores in 9 to 10 states. I found some of the stores I...

    Disappointed...Plugged Anejo!

As other's have said a metal skewer, in my last 10 plus years of cigar smoking I have been lucky enough to only come across 6-8 plugged cigars. I can remember the biggest disappointment was a plugged A.F. Between the Lines, I had been aging it for 2 years and was in my truck with no skewer. I...

    What's Your Latest Purchase

Well for my 3 latest box purchases, the first was a box of Saint Luis Rey Serie G "Churchill" maduro of course. The other 2 were the same boxes I buy this time every year, 2 boxes of the AF Hemingway "signature" maduro of course, I don't really care for the Cameroon for some reason. Through...

What is your favorite smoke at and end of a crappy day of work?

I would have to say after a long tuff day or driving I sit back in my sleeper and enjoy a Hoyo De Monterrey Dark Sumatra "Noche", it just seems to take my mind off of everything

Johnnie Walker Pure Malt (Green Label)

This is the only vatted malt that I like. I prefer this over all the other JW labels yes including the blue. This spirit has a unique taste going on with it, it is like tasting a little of every part of Scotland. The box only list 4 of the distilleries but they use many other distilleries...

    Starter scotch?

IMHO for a good beginner scotch I would go with a bottle of Old Pulteney 12 year, it's light flavorful and smooth. I found it very easy to pick out the different flavors like sea air, brine, honey, apples and a bit of chocolate. And this one has a very nice finish. Highly recommended!! :D

    Ardbeg 10 Islay Scotch

Smokey, smokey and some more smoke. This is my goto heavy spirit I always have a bottle on hand, when ever I am in the mood for something heavy and it is not a special occasion this is what I pour me a dram of it's wonderful. It goes great with a full bodied smoke like a La Gloria Cubana...

    Highland Park 18 yo Scotch

I have tried the 12,15,18,25 and 30 year versions. The 18 wins hands down on my palette followed by the 15 year. The 12 is not as smooth as the 18 and the 25 and 30 year I did not take a liking to, to much wood taste. I have yet to try the 40 year old but if its anything like the 25 and 30 I...
  14. Cigars & A Scotch

Just bought my first (SECOND) bottle of scotch.

You should not be disappointed it is a good light beginners scotch, as a matter of fact it was my first single malt I ever had. I still enjoy it occasionally when I am in the mood for something light or when I am introducing someone to the fine world of adult beverages!!
