You are obviously never going to take the initiative to help prevent yourself from making anymore completely incorrect statements, so I will:
Let me know if you need more definitions, as they are a key element of successful debate and/or pedantry.
"Words have consequences." is a children's idiom, which cannot even withstand the logic of the much older and demonstrably true
"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me."
Reality is the true state of existence, rather than someone's feelings.
Perhaps I can shout "FIRE" in an empty theater, while you shout "FIRE" in a theater in Shanghai that is filled to capacity;
that way we can both prove my point.
Words definitely do not have consequences.
They are nothing more than abstract concepts, completely void of agency.
Genesis 1 does not ascribe consequences to God's words, even as He is said to be speaking existence into being.
That is probably the correct approach for a site that is quite niche to begin with.
My comment had nothing to do with anyone's political views or even their taste in music.
That said, anyone that pretends to have suffered injury or offense from hearing lyrics such as:
"It's time we all unite."...
Leaving the politics and personal music preferences aside, I will have nothing but disdain for anyone who chooses to "click a sad face" in an attempt to get this removed.
I would hope that this community is comprised of grown men, rather than just people of legal smoking age.
Edit:
I removed...
Watching on television would have been bad enough but I had the displeasure of attending a stop on the Live Tour. At that time, the few hundred dollars spent~wasted was the kicker; these days, I want the few hours of my life back.
You swerved me pretty good, as I was almost certain this was going to end with "We are approaching our 47th anniversary in August."
I can somewhat relate, as my baser instincts once caused me to endure:
I was recently forced to stop welding as a job~career, on account of my medical condition.
Have you considered voluntarily quitting?
{I am only ribbing, of course.}
Nice.
My recent move into an apartment put the kibosh on gardening for me but I like those echinaceas and the crocosmia(?) at 11 o'clock to the birdbath.
I appreciate the birthday wishes from each of you.
My electricity was restored at some point yesterday morning, which after a week, was cause enough to celebrate but I did not even realize that it had been my birthday until reading this just now.
