Very true Harris... I do have a couple of mid 90's lanceros that came from the same box. The draw continues to improve (the improvement potential is probably finite), and I think that the contraction of the tobacco leaf inside might be a contributing factor. I also have various other Cohiba...
It's always best to share pertinent information. Most of us are very busy. Therefore often times, if it isnt pointed out to you, it's easy to overlook.
Example: I was introduced to a person on CF who lives in LA and is a nice guy. Although he never did me wrong, he ended up screwing over...
Harris, not calling into question your knowledge.. I've found the Lanceros to be the most unpredictable cigars across the board unless aged 5+ years. You don't find these to have a hard draw when not adequately aged? Any particular storage techique for just the lanceros?
Though Cohibas are my...
More than anything, I think it was very poorly planned. There was virtually no information posted about it; I still dont know what cigars are being offered. It didnt seem like this was an event by any means, as it wasn't on a specific day.
Some of the best Cubans out there... I sent you a PM Rich... perhaps you smoked a few young Cohibas? Aged Cohibas are definitely some amazing smokes... Lucasbuck will be happy to vouch for that fact!! :)

Most of those fakes can be found...
I'd suggest trying the RdC, Super Beli, Robusto, and Petite Lancero to get an idea of the flavor profiles from different sizes.
From there you can tailor it down by your exact preference (ie, corona gordas, churcills, piramides)
Beetles are something that I believe most of us have dealt with in the past. One should probably consider it to be an inevitable part of this hobby. After you've taken all precautions to prevent a beetle outbreak and/or spread, then there isn't much more you can do. I'm sure we can all relate...
If they have a great deal of age on them, and you can score them for a good price... then they are worth the money...
I was gifted an original release RDC, and it was one of the best cigars I've ever smoked. I traded for a few Opus X RdC's from 96, and those are also excellent.
The fresh ones...
You think? You are absolutely correct!! They are made of vuelta arriba tobacco and are slighlty underfilled. They are precut, and not really a conniseurs (sp) smoke. They're decent..
