As long as people keep buying them at these prices, Habanos S.A. will continue it's current pricing model. The pricing is bad enough on the RE and EL, but $350+ for a box of 24 Trini Robusto T's which is just regular new production is nuts.

I believe these have the potential to really shine with at least 5 years of age on them. So, I believe they will be exceptional, but Hoyo de Monterrey is one of my favorite marcas.

In general, 70-71% humidity is too high for cubans. I would bring them down to 62-65% for at least 30 days, and see how they smoke. As suggested above, if you're impatient dry box one for a couple days and see how it smokes. Bolivars in general need some aging time to really shine in my...

Good advice above for managing your humidity. It sure sounds like your sticks are still a bit wet. You might try dry boxing a stick for a couple days to dry out and see if that resolves the problem.

I would vote for current stock Sir Winnies and age them yourself so you know they have been stored properly. 08 has been a stellar year for Upmann's.

A good hoyo in about the same size range is the Le Hoyo Du Prince.
