    ISOM cigar poll

I think it would be interesting to see how everyone would vote between the Montecristo #2 box of 25 and the Monte Sublime box of 10.

    Heading to Cabo

Another vote for bringing your own stash. Why have to dodge fakes and high prices when you should be relaxing and having some fun.

    H Upmann Mag 46

08 has been a banner year for H. Upmann particularly the #2, Mag 46, Mag 50, and Corona Major.

    Bolivar Royal Corona

Yep, CC's smoke best at 60-65% relative humidity.

To tell or not to tell...

Yeah, I would take him aside privately and break the bad news to him. Also, show him why they are fake so he doesn't make the same mistake again.

    The Cohiba Sublimes Case

If you read number 3 closely he says the boxes were dropped shipped directly from other supplier direct to customer without being seen by the middleman. Something tells me he think long and hard before he does that again.

    New Habanos RR and LE...

As long as people keep buying them at these prices, Habanos S.A. will continue it's current pricing model. The pricing is bad enough on the RE and EL, but $350+ for a box of 24 Trini Robusto T's which is just regular new production is nuts.

    Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especial

I believe these have the potential to really shine with at least 5 years of age on them. So, I believe they will be exceptional, but Hoyo de Monterrey is one of my favorite marcas.

    Fidel is out of TP

It sounds like you had better bring your own toilet paper and soap!!!

    Bolivar Belicosos Finos

In general, 70-71% humidity is too high for cubans. I would bring them down to 62-65% for at least 30 days, and see how they smoke. As suggested above, if you're impatient dry box one for a couple days and see how it smokes. Bolivars in general need some aging time to really shine in my...

    Real Partagas box code?

All I can say is know your vendor..

    Fakes from Cuba?

The real determining factor is where he bought them in Cuba unless other factors about the box scream "fake".

    Cohiba Secretos

Agreed, Cohiba's particularly the larger ring gauges need age to really shine..

    Storage question

Good advice above for managing your humidity. It sure sounds like your sticks are still a bit wet. You might try dry boxing a stick for a couple days to dry out and see if that resolves the problem.

    H. Upmann Sir Winston vs. Monarcas

I would vote for current stock Sir Winnies and age them yourself so you know they have been stored properly. 08 has been a stellar year for Upmann's.

    Hoyos Coronations

A good hoyo in about the same size range is the Le Hoyo Du Prince.
