It is possible then that the smokes are just wetmany manufacturers ship cigars at higher humidity to make sure they reach their destination OK. You could try to leave the humi open for a couple hours and then (this is the hard part) close it and leave it closed for a at LEAST 24 hours. Let the...

    Newbie Wine lover

A white merlot? I was under the impression that to be a merlot it had to be made from a certain grape which is a red grape. I will need to look for this. Anyway I am a big wine fan and I find that wine is just like cigars. Everyone has their own tastes and in order to find what you like you...

Do you ever unravel your cigars

I will admit to doing this on a regular basis. While I do it in complete intrest of my hobby a small part of me is simply appeased to be taking something apart :). I find the construction just amazing and and it gives me a true respect for those who roll them.

As...

    Cigar Auctions?

Whatever you do be careful. You can certainly get some smoking deals on Cbid but it is also easy to catch the auction fever and keep bidding simply to win. I have seem many people pay over retail because of the spirit of competition.

    Head to Head

I am somewhat bias as truethfully I have only had the 1926 and one Opus X. However the 1926 knocked my socks off and I really enjoyed it. It seemed to give me a bit smother finish than the Opus and was just quality from cap to foot.

How many of you guys frequently write code?

I am a Vi guy myself. Used it a few years back to code a MUD in ANSI C and continue to use it now. I am by no means a snob about it though, an editor is an editor. Though eMacs stinks IMO.
