How long to age Trinidad Reyes

Not to be a negative nancy but this years batch of Trins have been spotty from a quality perspective but there have been good lots as well. Hard to tell from your pictures. But as long as you are getting good aroma when opening the cabinet and the construction looks good you should be all set.

    Keep Dreaming Cuba

The supreme Court refused to hear an appeal by general cigar last week. This officially holds up Cubatabaco's trademark win on Cohiba. Use Google FU for the source as I'm too lazy to hunt for it on my phone.   I saw that.  and while it sets precedence for other cases, it wont be instant. ...

How long to age Trinidad Reyes

Each box is different but figure 3-4 years for its best.  But i would smoke one every six months to find a period you like and smoke the majority then.

Just get on the plane and go!

While more travel is permitted to Cuba, tourism is still not allowed. The. Cultural exchange visits are very strictly regulated. I wouldn't show up in Cuba saying your visiting a tobacco farm without some set itinerary

    Keep Dreaming Cuba

Even if the embargo is lifted, you will likely not be able to purchase Cuban cigars (at least no RyJ's, Cohiba, montes, la Gloria, etc.) until they work out the trade mark issues. All those brands that are sold here in the US and Dominican made are actually just shells of the real Cuban owned...

New Añejados Line from Habanos SA

Its worth trying to make your own judgement.  To me buying aged sticks from a source is better for me.  But there could be certain sticks that are better than other from the line

    Tupperdor Question

A coolerdor may work as well.  The insulation should help with the temp swings.

Your experiences with Aged, non-Cuban, Cigars

a crappy cigar wont get better with age.  a good cigar will change.  sometimes for the better, sometimes not.  it just mellows out a good cigar with age.

New Añejados Line from Habanos SA

These are out and available.  I've tried..I think its not worth the price.  I would prefer looking for aged stock from one of the many retailers.

    LCdH Cozumel

When in Mexico I would only purchase cuban cigars from 2 places. Duty free shops with good humidification units and LCDH.  You get what you pay for and you are paying for piece of mind.   The LCDH in Puerto Vallarta is awesome with great aged stock.
